Girls Only.

Story of my life on the race. I've been on an all women's team all race. I love it. However, the month of August was different for my squad. Most of my squad said goodbye to the men on their team, as they headed to the mountains for manistry man time. I guess that makes our month feministry.

They scrambled all the women and put us on new teams for the month, half the women went to one site, and the other half went to another.

My site was in Nsoko, Swaziland. We were living at a care-point, which is a feeding center for the kids in the area. While we were there we visited other care-points in the area and helped harvest food for the centers.

The highlight of Swaziland is simple — worshipping under the stars. The stars actually twinkle in Swaziland, it's not just a song from your childhood. I'm not necessarily awesome at describing things in one word, but if I had to, I would pick MAJESTY, for the month of Swaziland. After spending hours under the stars, you have enough time to put yourself back in perspective. You are small, no matter how tall you think you are, you are actually extremely small. Our God is majestic and mind blowing. His creation can take your breath away if you let it.

When I think about the majesty of God, I think of Psalm 8.. and maybe you shouldn't read it at your computer screen, in fact don't do that at all— but take it outside and stay there until He shows you that out of all the things He's created — it's you He's crazy about.

"When I look at Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have set into place, what is man that You are mindful of him, the son of man that You care for him"
