Dear Friends and Family,
This past summer God gave me the opportunity to invest in the city of New Orleans, I went to bring change and the city ended up changing me. God’s passion and love for His people was revealed to me in ways like never before. God moved in the city of New Orleans, a city that once experienced the rising waters of disaster was flooded with an abundance of hope. Children, who have never known love, were loved, and communities began to be restored. I know that God will continue to restore New Orleans and I’m thankful to have been a part of the things that God was doing there. I know that many of you kept me in your prayers and supported me financially, so I wanted to thank-you. It was truly a blessing to have the support of the people I love.
As I was serving in New Orleans, God began to grow my heart to serve the nations. I could not get missions off my heart, so I decided to pursue the desire that I know God put there. This January, I will embark on a journey through Adventures In Missions, called The World Race. The World Race is an 11-month mission’s trip to 11 different countries to serve “the least of these.” This journey will be stretching, but I know it will be worth it. I will be traveling to Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Romania, Ukraine, South Africa, Swaziland, Mozambique, Thailand, Malaysia, and Cambodia. My team and I will be serving the orphans, the poor, the sick, those who are broken, those who are in need, and anyone who the Lord puts in our path. I believe that the Lord wants to bring restoration and hope to the nations and He wants to use us to do it!
In the body of Christ, there are many different parts that work together to make it function as it was purposed to do, but the body itself is one. It would be an honor to be a representative of the hands and feet of Jesus for you to these nations. To be fully funded I need to raise $15,500 and approximately an additional $1,500 in equipment. My goal is to raise $6,500 by September, 23, 2012.
