This past month (October) my team and I have worked with the Ithemba preschool in Jeffrey’s Bay, South Africa. I taught in a classroom of 5-6 year olds, tutored kids, told Bible stories, and shared the Good News. On my birthday, October 27th, the team coordinated a Christmas party for all the kids to have fun and celebrate the end of their school year, which ends in November. I’ve loved working with these joy filled kids, and I may have shed a tear or two when I said goodbye to them yesterday (November 4th).
