This past Monday, we took a 2 and a half mile hike from the pastor’s home that we are staying at to the nearby Giraffe Center. It was totally worth the trek! At the Giraffe Center, we were able to have close encounters with the giraffes and feed them from our hands. It was so much fun!!
A big thrill was feeding them with our mouths! Haha, yes… you stick the piece of food in your mouth and the giraffe sticks out his incredibly long tongue (18 inches) to take the food from your mouth. Resulting in what we call “kissing a giraffe”!
Yes, I kissed a giraffe!! One of the neatest experiences of my life! :]
I just hope my future husband isn’t too jealous.. ;]
