Ok, so I might not be fulfilling my dream of blasting off into
space, but I am most certainly “launching” into the world today!! And my heart is racing pretty fast from all
of the excitement, nerves & unknowns of the journey ahead!
The past six months have flown by… from the beginning when God
first revealed this adventure to me and now to the day that it is going to come
to pass. It is just so crazy to think
that this day is finally here! I really
have no words to describe how I am feeling right now. I still feel like I am living in a dream and
I am just waiting to wake up. But I am
SO happy that this is actually my reality!
AND I WAS EVEN ABLE TO FIT MY WHOLE LIFE FOR A YEAR INTO ONE
LARGE BACKPACK…didn’t think that was possible, haha.

I depart this evening from LAX for the Philippines at
11:50pm (California time) with a layover in Hong Kong before arriving in
Manila, Philippines.
BUT Before I leave the country, I want to provide you with

PS_ A lot of you know that I have been dealing with a bad ear infection that has yet to go away. Unfortunately, my other ear is looking as if it is becoming infected as well. So I really need some extra prayers for this!!! The super long flight that I will board tonight might not be that great for my ears either and could possibly make it a really uncomfortable trip for me. Thank you so much! I will keep you updated on the progress of this in future blogs.
