Welp, its month 11 and I am starting to grasp what it means to have faith. Turns out we really do have a God who loves us completely and wants the best for us individually and as a whole.
As I read through Hebrews chapter 11 this morning I was encouraged and stunned by the accounts of those in the Bible that have walked in incredible faith and how God has honored that so completely.
This month my team and I are doing Unsung Heroes, which means we have been traveling through Argentina with no contacts and little direction looking for new ministries for AIM to partner with. We have a very small budget considering how expensive this country can be and we have been calling on God in faith and prayer that He will ‘give us this day our daily bread’, and our prayers have been MORE than answered.
After a day of prayer and research we left Lujan and headed southeast for Mar Del Plata. We had the name and contact information on a pastor there and figured we would give them a call and pray they would answer. Not only did they answer, but they opened their doors to us and have given us a free place to stay for the next several days while we are here. We have hot showers, clean water, cheap food, and potential contacts for AIM.
God continues to provide for us in huge ways and I am starting to understand what it feels like to live in faith.
At first and ‘Acts’ life style sounds scary, but when we start to truly live it we realize just how much fear we can let go of and how much freedom we can live in knowing God is good and He WILL provide.
That’s all for now, but I will let you know what amazing things God continues to bless us with!
X
