In life we have choices, choose wisely and listen well. Something I recently learned is that even when I think my plan or the choices toward that plan are the very best for me, God can wreck them for something even better.
But there sure is a lot of disappointment and heartbreak when our plans are at a loss. So yet another thing I learned, “The only thing that can satisfy the human heart, is the one who made it.” Though my plans weren’t bad, they weren’t what God really wanted. He wanted me to listen to that call deep inside, to surrender fully, to be done with being held back and to let go willingly.
Call me crazy but I don’t want to be stuck in this too comfortable of a life I have.
So that’s when I decide to go. It’s certainly always been a dream of mine to be a missionary, but it’s also my job. I am simply supposed to be obedient, that’s what God asks of us.
This journey won’t be easy, it will probably be one of the most challenging things I have ever faced but I’m excited for what’s in store.
