Here's what you need to know:

I was once dead. But now I'm alive.

I was once sick. But now I'm healed.

I love my Lord and the story He has lovingly scripted for me and through me.

My family and friends are world class.

I love a good adventure!

I love to write.

I'm a big-time music junkie.

Laughter: one of my favorite sounds – right up there with a revved up '67 SS and Morgan Freeman's voice.

My heart is for the lost and my passion is in missions, particularly with Unreached People Groups. Full-time missions, God-willing, is in my future.

I love to both learn and teach the Word of God.

I want to see the world, but more importantly, I want to fall to my knees alongside the nations at the sound of Jesus' Great Name.

I studied Zoology in college, and I currently use it only to impress my friends in the Appalachian wilderness.

I currently work at Brevard Community Church as the Administrative Assistant & Girls Ministry Director (yes, that is a mouthful). Basically, I work closely with an incredible team of Pastors, get to do life and pour into some beautiful young people, and support a loving body of believers who are living to build His Kingdom in our community and in our world.

I'm a fan of black bean burgers, MMA, and all things Sylvester Stallone.

Don't let the marathon training fool you; I'm not a runner.

God has worked miracles in my life, and I crave to witness even more of His glory, power, mercy and love.

Sometimes I wish I were shorter. But my 5'11 frame comes in handy when I'm on the low post and/or impersonating Bea Arthur.

I'll try anything once. Future teammates: feel free to hold me to this.

My spiritual gifts are teaching, exhortation, and being able to scavenge batteries from other devices to avoid buying new ones.

This World Race journey has thus far thrilled, terrified, delighted, and nauseated me all at the same time. I am being lovingly shoved out of my comfort zone and into the path God has laid out for me. I know He will be faithful to use me as a vessel to build His Kingdom. How could I possibly say no?
