This months schedule is a lot more laid back than last month. This provides us with a good opportunity for us to figure out for ourselves what it looks like to rest well and do ministry well. We are really enjoying our time here and we are all dreading the day we have to give good night hugs to all the kiddos and say “see you later” instead of “see you tomorrow.”

Here are some pics from our time at NHO (of which I didn’t take any):

We had a water balloon-turned-anything-that-would-hold-water fight one day with the kids! We had a blast!

My beautiful teammate, Jess, and some silly kids! My personal favorite is the girl on the left who just looks perplexed.

We went to a beautiful natural spring on our day off! #ladiesofteamransom

Hammocking at the stream = fantastic off day

Playing soccer was a large portion of our ministry this month…and we didn’t hate it.

I know you’re not supposed to have favorites, but…this is So Kihm. And he was awesome. He gave me a bracelet – I mean, what’s a girl to do?!

We planted some trees out at the soccer field to help them start the process of having a self-sustaining farm within the next 5-10 years.

These kids LOVED playing with Legos – and they were good at it. Pretty sure some of them will be architects when they grow up.

We had the opportunity to eat a tarantula if we wanted!! It tasted a little bit like hairy barbecue chicken. Not bad, but not the best.
