In 11 days, I will board a plan bound for New Delhi (India). In 6 days, I leave Houston to travel to Atlanta for launch. I will not return until I am a year older, and the calendar reads late July or early August 2015.

I'm excited, sleep deprived, frazzled, and my brain has 1000 tabs open.  My computer currently has 44 tabs open (no joke– wish it weren't true). You getting the feeling of where I'm at?

I'm feeling like the TO DO list is getting longer instead of shorter. There feels like so much to do, and so little time.  Please be praying that I am able to accomplish everything I need to, and that I can do so in a way that is God-honoring. It's easy to lose it (and unfortunately I have), but it's much harder to pray for calm and peace and to ultimately choose to keep it together! You all know this, though.

So I'm writing because as a part of my TO DO list I'd REALLY could use your help! I'd like some feedback from you that will help me on the race, so here it is…

1. Do you want to be on my prayer team? I already have 13 people who have committed to daily prayer over this World Race journey, but more is ALwAYS better when it comes to prayer! If you're interested and considering it, could you commit to daily or once a week prayer times on behalf of our current ministry contact, the country we are ministering in, my team (group of 6 girls), my squad (all 40ish of us), and then me personally? If so, let me know which commitment you can take on (daily versus once a week).  Before committing, please consider your schedule and pray over the decision because we need BOLD, COURAGEOUS, DEEP, and SPECIFIC prayers being sent up. Because of your commitment, I will commit to sending out emails once a week (as internet connection allows) to let you know of specifics to be praying for. If you want to commit to being a prayer warrior, make sure to send me your email address! You're going to bring the Kingdom to Asia through your prayers! How cool is that?! My squad and I will accomplish little without being prayed up, and so I hope that many of you can be a part of this journey with me in this way!

2. Have you ever worked a VBS? Do you have some good songs to teach and action-oriented activities that require little to no materials to implement? If so, share them with me! I need to learn some children's worship songs and stuff like it to have fun while teaching the Bible to kids! The goofier the better! All I've got in my arsenal is Father Abraham and Rise and Shine!  If you can find/recommend videos of these action-oriented songs, please send those my way too! You'll help bless kids all over Asia!

3. Do you have favorite worship music from the 1990s and early 2000s that you could recommend/remind me of? Many of the churches in the developing world are about 10-20 years behind in terms of the Christian music they have access to. I want to put some of these older songs on my iPod to use when we're leading worship so they can sing some of the songs that are their current favorites. Let me know your faves, and you'll be helping to bless churches all over Asia!

Feel free to post responses to these questions in the comments below, or click the CONTACT link to the left. Through that contact page form, messages will be sent directly to my email and then we can continue conversations via email!

THANK YOU! I LOVE YOU ALL!
