Hello family and friends!
I hope this letter finds you well! I wanted to write to let you know about some new things going on in my life. As many of you know, I love to travel, learn and teach about our world. As a result of this, God has truly been working on me the last several years and broken my heart for international missions. Thus, I have made the exciting and ridiculously scary choice of “letting go” and giving my current, comfortable life up for Him. I leave in July as a “World Race” missionary with the organization Adventures in Missions, and I am so excited to see what God is going to do through YOU AND ME if you choose to partner with me on this journey.
On the World Race, my team and I will serve in partnership with churches and ministries in local communities to preach the Gospel, plant churches, work in orphanages, minister to those trapped in prostitution as a result of human trafficking, and bring the restoration and hope of the Father’s love to many tribes and nations.
I’m writing you because I need your help to do what God is calling me to, and I want to grant you the opportunity to bless the nations alongside me. I ask that you prayerfully consider partnering with me in reaching the nations for Christ. I need encouragers, prayer warriors, and financial supporters backing this trip every step of the way. If God is calling you to financially give toward this mission, know that I must raise $16,285 by January 1, 2015. This amount covers all of my expenses on the mission field. Financial support can be given as a one-time gift or as a monthly donation, wherein you choose the amount and beginning and end date.
In partnering with you to spread Christ throughout the world, I will keep you in the loop every step of the way. If you want to write a check, I have enclosed a response card and pre-addressed envelope. The response card will provide AIM with the information necessary to send you a receipt for your donation.
In closing, remember what we as Christ followers are called to: to go and bless the nations. Genesis 12: 1-3 is the blessing to Abraham, which says “Go from your country… to the land that I will show you… I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you… in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” Please help me bless the nations for Him by partnering with me.
