We don’t use the “P” word. UPDATE!
Update from the Philippines on our beautiful brave girls that met us at the van!
Yesterday we had 7 girls from walking street come to Quezon City, meet the others, and check out the Wipe Every Tear houses! 6 girls met us at the hotel and 1 girl called Ate Becky on the way home and told us she missed the van. She wanted to come so badly that she took over a 2 hour bus ride so she could see with her own eyes that what we say is true!

There were a lot of tears a lot of laughing and a lot of full and happy hearts.
Please pray for

Pray that visiting the houses was enough to convince them that this is forreal! C, M, E, and J are roommates! They got off at 3am stayed up and drank coffee all morning so they wouldn’t sleep in and miss the van! God I pray they return, they we’re so excited and responded so well to my pathetic attempt to speak Tagalog!
My M didn’t come. I’m sad. Actually I’m heart broken.
I met her for less than an hour and Iove her. I don’t doubt that my presence there in the bars made an impact. I know that God can use us even when what we hope for doesn’t happen. It doesn’t make me pray for M and Ace’s future any less. I pray that in months to come that she will remember me and our hour together and make the brave decision to call or text Ate Becky about getting out of there. I pray that she sees her Ace soon and that she keeps the card that Jo secretly passed to her.
Now we’re back home at Faith House and things are settling down again. The girls school routines continue and breakfast lunch and dinner all happen at the appropriate times. Devotion is every night at 8 and church is every Sunday at 9. My reality over the span of these 11 months will change. I’ll have 11 different routines, 11 different places I’ve called home, and 11 totally different and unique cultures that I’ve experienced.
I’m sure over the span of 11 countries in 11 months I’ll forget some stuff here and there but this I’ll never forget. The past 3 days working in Angeles City, staying out til 2am, singing Holy Spirit you are welcomed here, buying M, D, Mi, and K a drink, speaking to them about their futures and looking them in their eyes saying I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU. I’ll never forget this. Please oh please pray for these dear girls.

Then I heard the voice of The Lord saying,
“whom shall I send? And who will go for us?”
And I said, “Here am I. SEND ME!”
