1. Teammates become friends. From watching movies together to challenging each other to a bowling duel. We chose to become friends.
2. Singing songs with college students throughout the city. We had the opportunity to teach songs to a group of students at an Academy, and we also got to sing pop songs with students in the park.
3. Scavenger Hunts led to great treasures. We met O’Hannah who was traveling from Malaysia. We met Kim (who is in need of forgiveness) in the park. We met several ladies at a salon. We met Mini and Ruth (university students) in the park.
4. Mexican food, pancakes and brownies represent comfort foods. A piece of home. Thanks Ginna and Cicely for the girls night and great food!
5. Precious children are everywhere. Mateo was a sweet little boy who reminded me of the beauty of His children and the great desire to love unconditionally.
6. Everyday dinners brought great fellowship and new foods. We had hot pot with Peter Parker that included a mix of pork and seafood. I tried Pho (a traditional Vietnamese dinner). We treated our hostel owner to dinner, and then were treated to a feast at her house.
7. The Women’s Conference was a great opportunity of growth for me. It challenged me to be uncomfortable, and obey in His calling for me to preach. It was also a testimony of His ladies who are sacrificing so much for the growth of His kingdom.
8. Meeting Brittany was encouraging and showed how small this world really is. We were able to connect about how our lives have had similar paths (trips around the world, schooling at Southeastern, and growing up in North Carolina).
9. Sunrises at the Beach! God speaks in the quiet moments bringing worship, whispers and splendor.
10. My team is nerdy too! We spent a night playing Nerts (a card game similar to Dutch Blitz) and watching Lord of the Rings.

11. God is able to bring divine appointments everywhere we walk. His presence is evident. I was blessed to meet Du on the beach and allow her life to completely redefine my heart by the joy that she exudes!
Prayers:
1. Continued growth–teachable spirit and allowance for the Spirit to move
2. Unity with my new team (Seven Up! Members: Sara, Simeon, Tori, Mercy, Hakyoung and Debbie)
3. Blending teaching with His love in Yanji, China (at a University teaching English)
