One word: WOW!

I have never experienced such spiritual warfare and breakthrough in one week. The idea of keeping plans and ideas up in the air tests my need for control, but really it boils down to trusting God and the process the WR teams have developed.

This week was a chance for us to pull away from all comforts of life as we know it and just trust God to work. We were without technology (communication systems) and were without shelter at the camp. I didn’t think that I would make it, but I did, and honestly, I really enjoyed the lack of distraction and consumption that technology brings. It was hard to not have the chance to turn to my family and friends from home, but it forced me to embrace the family the Lord has given me for the next 11 months.

The Lord taught me so much over the 5 days too (beginning the work before and continuing it now after camp). The main theme I received from the Lord this week: Do you trust that I am perfect in all of my ways? In the next few blogs, I will break apart more details about my training camp journey. Check out the highlights from this week with the Lord.

Prayers: Pray for our hearts to be surrendered and listening to the Lord’s voice. Pray that we seek opportunities to pour into each other and then pour out into the community. Pray that we trust God. Pray for the teammates that still need finances for the remainder of their trip.
