I finished my fundraising training today! I am grateful to have the summer vacation to get a handle on the process and how to effectively partner with the people in my life that I want to walk through the journey with. I am excited to share my story with others and see how the Lord uses them in this process.
I look forward to meeting with friends that I see daily, and also family and friends that I haven’t been able to see in a while to share what God is doing in my life and will continue to do during the race and afterward.
God has reminded me to be diligent and dedicated to this process of fundraising—while it is overwhelming and full of details, it is essential in allowing the body of Christ to work adequately.
I am praying for the people that God has shown me to contact and praying for their decisions to support me in any way they can (especially through prayer).
The Lord told me that this summer would be a summer of preparation, and a few months ago I wasn’t sure what He meant by that. I know now. I see His provision in getting the process started for the World Race. I see how He knew I would have more time to complete the training and fundraising during my summer vacation instead of in the middle of the school year.
As always, continue to pray for my obedience to His direction and calling. Pray for your decision to help support me to go into all the nations for His Kingdom’s sake.
