We’re basically living in a rainforest this month. I’m not even kidding. It’s beautiful. We’re only in day two, but I love it. Everything is green. It’s approximately the perfect temperature EVERY single day. We have the opportunity to do several different kinds of ministries (I’ll let you know when we get into it a bit more) and we’re serving with the guys from Passport Immersion! It’s pretty fab. We kind of wrecked their manistry month, but hopefully they don’t mind the ten of us girls. We at least added four boys to the mix.
We’re working with Kids International Ministries and World Harvest Ministries. It’s pretty ballin’ and we’ve already done some painting, which is obviously one of my most favs even though we went over the same parts seven thousand times to make it white enough. Let me tell you, though. These folks know how to WORK. I remember this time when Berry decided to renovate part of campus and the construction workers were so slow that they had trouble getting it done by graduation which was a good few months AFTER their “deadline” and even then they did a bad job and had to redo it. Well, these folks put together this sports complex and multipurpose building in a matter of days…AND IT LOOKS AWESOME.

OH (this is big news so get ready)
I’m serving with LIZ FREAKING MONROE this month! Well, and her team, but mostly HER! Finally! After being friends on the Twitter for a whole year we’re now getting to have fun shower times together with our other Twitter bffl Caitlin. It’s like Twitter has come to life. We keep saying “remember that time on twitter when we discussed….” Like TSwift’s new song about us never ever ever ever being together again and other stuff. It’s so good.
We’re going into town pretty soon aka the day I post this (obvi because that means I’ll have wifi) so I’ll have to post another blog about the adventures of that experience.
For now, I’m alive and out of China and experiencing another version of Asia that I’m already in love with (did I mention I’ve already had yellow curry chicken with potatoes and carrots AND spaghetti? HELLO LOVE) and I’m finally consuming an adequate amount of vitamin D to boost my spirits and salvage my health.
God is still God and He is still good.
