50 facts about meeee:
1. I really love to cook. I don’t mean from a box. I mean from a recipe..big meals. I invite people over and have a dinner party pretty much all the time.
2. I love baking cookies and cakes.
3. I don’t really crave sweets and probably won’t eat very many of them on the race (I know. Ironic considering I love to bake).
4. My favorite color is yellow. It will most likely be incorporated everywhere.
5. I love word games.
6. Crafting and painting are two of my favorite things – including random projects from Pinterest.
7. My favorite foods are basically any kind of pasta and tacos. I love tacos (and salsa..I love a good salsa).
8. Moving to college was my first move ever. I’ve lived in the same little house on the same little street in the same little town for my entire life..and my parents still live there.
9. I’m a people person, but I’m definitely more vocal in smaller groups than larger ones.
10. I’m an observer. I’ve been without a car for two years so I’ve gotten used to looking and taking in details. I tend to do this in large groups as well. This sometimes makes me a really bad driver. haha
11. I love writing letters.
12. I wrote a ton of poetry in high school and still do sometimes, but not a whole lot.
13. I don’t wear makeup. There’s no particular reason, I just don’t. 🙂
14. This time next year I will be having HUGE Relay For Life withdrawals. This is year #8 for me..so not doing it next year will be weird.
15. I’ll try almost anything once – food, sports, whatever.
16. When I am without food and/or sleep, I get grumpy…I apologize in advance.
17. I love making up words! And adding t’s in words for emphasis sometimes. It makes no sense, but I do it.
18. Coffee is so grand, but I can’t drink a lot of it. I had so much of it that I irritated my stomach lining a few years ago…so now I drink a ton of tea – but not just sweet tea.. My favorite is probably blueberry or chai.
19. I really really really really love sports. NCAA Football, MLB, NCAA Basketball, Tennis, sometimes soccer and tons of others. I love them.
20. Crocheting is so much fun!! My great-grandma taught me when I was in middle school and I’ve made tons since then – blankets, scarves, and some hats.
21. I have awkward timing with my humor.
22. I’m a closet hippie.
23. I love overalls.
24. Winter is gross. It makes me depressed. I’d rather have sunshine.
25. I have a lot of scars from falling off my bike or falling while roller skating when I was little.
26. It took me 21 years to break 100 lbs..but I don’t have an eating disorder. I have a fast metabolism and my whole family is pretty thin.
27. I’m the middle child surrounded by two boys. My older brother is 25 and my younger brother is 16.
28. My mom is the reason I love tea. My cousin calls it her “weed stash” because she has tons of canisters in our kitchen filled with tea leaves.
29. Berry College is my h.o.m.e (for now) and I love it. My church fam at Connect City Church is ballin’. I love them.
30. I’ve worked in Berry’s IT department for 4 years.
31. Jimmy Needham is one of my all-time favorite artists. I’ve seen him at least five times in concert and actually had Shabbat dinner with him.
32. I went to a Messianic-Jewish Synagogue for about 9 months. It was one of the most incredible experiences of my life. I learned SO much and am so thankful for those people!
33. My favorite color is yellow…laser lemon yellow.
34. I love graphic design! and crafting…I love crafting.
35. I’m a dreamer, but I try to be the organized one. I used to be more organized, down to earth, and realistic, but in the past few years I’ve just started dreaming. God said go big or go home so I’m going big!
36. I play a little bit of guitar. And I was in band for seven years playing the flute.
37. I’m addicted to Twitter…hardcore addicted. #shameless
38. My campus is 26,000 acres of AWESOME. Seriously. A whole hectare of land – nature. animals. trees. plants. sky. mountain. water. Jesus. love. Seriously – the best campus in the world. I’m sorry you didn’t go here. 😉
39. My two friends and I have Tasty Tuesday dinners where we take turns making dinner…and tonight we’re having a picnic outside.
40. I love exploring – going on random trails, hiking, etc. It’s so much fun!
41. Sometimes I add random t’s in my words.. sorry ’bout it.
42. I buy things in colors. Last year I was chair of Relay so all of a sudden everything was purple – my phone case, my shoes, my backpack, notebooks, etc. Right now it’s orange..my chacos started it.
43. My goal is to have the bestest chaco tan ever by the time I see y’all in person. 🙂
44. I don’t ever say y’all..so typing that felt really weird. twice.
45. I don’t really get embarrassed. I laugh at myself and everyone else who’s laughing at me. It’s more fun that way.
46. I never finished the Harry Potter series. I never started Twilight (but I’ve seen all the movies..two at midnight premieres), and I haven’t read the Hunger Games. That’s what I get for being an English major.
47. I plan on catching up on a ton of reading next year .. maybe..
48. Most people think nothing exists in GA south of Atlanta…and mostly that’s true.
49. I bought my first pair of jeans a year and a half ago. Up until that point I wore dresses and skirts because of the church I was raised in (not mormon or anything).
50. I love alllll kinds of music…even country sometimes. I can dig anything.
