This last year we saw widowed, orphaned, abandoned, victimized, abused, addicted, homeless, hungry people. We saw a pretty real world with very real needs. The stories of these people reside somewhere inside of us and have somehow shifted something that we honestly don’t want to be shifted back even if it could be. However, we have come back to a country that likes to look like everything is ok. There is a façade here. When we left last year, we could already see past that and yet there is something more that has taken me a little while to put to words. Really it is quite simple though…
The physical needs we saw throughout the world are the same spiritual needs we see here. There are countless who are spiritually orphaned, widowed, abandoned, victimized, abused, addicted, homeless and hungry people.
Jesus said that He came for the sick and the truth of the matter is that we are all sick but only those who recognize their sickness AND want to become healthy go to a doctor.
Do you believe that there are areas in you that are in need of healing?
Do you believe He can heal?
Do you really?
Are you answering these questions merely with your head or are you willing to do something about it?
Is it time for a checkup?
