SO…we didn’t buy a truck today BUT we did get it narrowed it down to two 🙂 Miguel is sending his mechanic to look at them this weekend and then hopefully we’ll have another truck by this time next week…My hope is Monday. Pray that we get the right price and right vehicle at the right time.
It also looks like I will be heading over to Azua for the night of the 12th and then into a city nearer the border named Neybo on the 13th. The next few days after that I will be bouncing around between the borders and then coming back to Santo Domingo to transition a couple teams. In the meantime I have a list of things to do including a bunch of research in Neybo. I feel like this is the city we’re supposed to set up our base and we have a contact of a contact there that may fit perfectly with us. I’ll be going to find that information out.
Please pray for smooth transitions for the groups coming in and going out and that God would continue to grant us favor in setting everything up for each team. If I had more time and energy I’d tell you of some of the people I’ve had a blessing of meeting up with these past days. Last example being a guy who is staying at the hostel we just checked into…he had two duffle bags of supplies needing to go to the same hospital we’re sending a team to on the 11th. He got called and has to leave for the states tomorrow and wasn’t sure how he was going to get it there…well, the guy across the hall moving in for a night (me) happens to have a team going there soon…all from a passing conversation at the right time. I can’t even take credit for some of the appointments He’s made for us. All honor and glory are due to Him.
be blessed and thanks again for your prayers and encouragement.
Also, pray that I rest well even if I’m still active and that He multiplies His joy through me.
