They will be my people, and I will be their God. I will give them singleness of heart and action so thtat they will always fear me for their own good and the good for their children after them. I will make an everlasting covenant with them. I will NEVER stop doing good to them and I will inspire them to fear me so that they will never turn away from me. I will rejoice in doing them good and will assuredly plant them in this land with all my heart and soul….

On our journey down to Gainesville Georgia, our traveling group stopped in Nashville, TN and stopped at the Grand Ole Opry House. For those of you who don’t know what that is, it is a gigantic hotel that has a number of shops, restaurants, and wings full of trees, moats and plain ridiculousness! Anyway, we stopped and sat down in front of this little water majuke. If any of you have ever seen these before, you will know that there are all sorts of different water spouts placed in the floor and they shoot up water for awhile before plummeting back down. Lights from above shine on the water to give it color and creativity while they move in a dance of rhythms and formations.
Anyway, we will taking it all in when all of a sudden they all fell down and then BOOOOF a massive and powerful gush of water came flying forth from the center of the circle…the lights dropped their color and it became illuminated in pure white. Now this thing just went from cool to wow in an instant. As we were watching in amazement, it all of a sudden climbed another 25 ft or so…Oh my goodness, are you serious??? There’s no way…no way…Then bam up once more to a ridiculous height…
Then God said…this is what I am going to do with your group…
We all have come in with various strengths and weaknesses and He has sustained our heights individually in what we have done these past years. However, as we strip ourselves out of the picture and each move closer to the center…His heart….the unity of heart and mind and action will change from a group of individuals doing some cool things to a unified body sharing the power of His heart…No joke, this world does not know what is about to hit them…
As of a couple days ago, I have determined to walk in freedom…as of last night, I have determined to let God be my Defender and refuge as I become the defense and refuge for those who have none. He has given me the grace to wear a mantle of humility with this group and I intend to learn how to serve these men and women of God with all of my being! Praise God for His faithfulness. His love endures forever!
God’s Spirit has already moved mightily in this place in so many ways and has been continually been manifesting His presence here…people are becoming free and people have been given gifts and others have been healed and I could keep going… The end result is that we will learn to walk in His devastating power because God is good all the time and the best is indeed yet to come… Praise be to Jesus and our Father, the author and perfecter of our lives!!
