I know its over a month late, but things have been busy!  Anyways, here is Manistry in pictures!
This is one of Buddhist temples in Chiang Mai.  This is what the majority of people in Thailand worship.
This was only one of many waterfalls we climbed this month.  This was right before Joshua, the guy in the center of the picture, was bitten by a viper.  Don’t worry, he was ok, didn’t even have to go to the hospital.
This was right after the snake bite and I was asking a local if they knew what kind of snake it was.  She was very scared of it, even though it was dead.
This was another waterfall and probably the best group shot ever of all of us.  We actually climbed up through the opening right beneath of us.  It was a small cave that we could climb around in.
This was our main ministry in Mae Sot.  We were sanding and staining the outside of a preschool at a Christian children’s home.
We also did some outreach to kids in a children’s home in the biggest refugee camp in Thailand.  These were Burmese kids, most of which were raised in the camp, but some were actually taken from Burma and placed in the home so that they would be out of an at risk situation.
The finished product of our labor!
Two of the kids that came to the preschool.  The one with yellow paint on his face is Karen;  the other one, I’m not sure about.
This was a church in Burma that we went to one day and prayed at.  We had some really great worship time and we prayed over each other and whatnot.
This was the Night Bazaar in Chiang Mai.
We went to a village down river on the border between Thailand and Burma and did a VBS type day at this school.
This is just a picture of the Thai countryside.
I know that it looks like most of this month was fun, and it was, but the bulk of ministry was within the team and not actually going and doing stuff.  Sure we did a lot of good in the communities we worked in and whatnot, but Manistry is all about digging into each other as men and thats what we did.  Its about going and experiencing a ton of stuff together and growing together as men.
