So we are currently in Romania, but I had begun a blog towards the end of our time in Ireland, but just didn’t have the time to finish it and post it so here it is! Triumph was teamed up with a church  in Galway called Abundant Life Church and their vision for us was to simply equip us and to be comfortable in our skin with street evangelism, to be bold and confident in ourselves with strangers on the city streets and spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ!   The Church has been showing us a series of street evangelism videos called “Way of the Master”. This series of videos comes on pretty frequently on TBN back home, so I already had a pre conceived notion of what we were getting ourselves into and to be honest was not looking forward to it! The way these men evangelize on these videos can be pretty controversial with how they approach people on the streets, so I wasn’t comfortable with using the techniques they show in the video, but after a week of trying to do it my it seemed as though all I was doing was running into useless conversation with strangers barely even speaking about Jesus……. the Lord convicted me about how I wasn’t really doing anything but just being friendly to people instead of preaching the Gospel to people and leading them to a savior! So I decided it was time to change my approach and Preach Jesus or pack up my tent and go back home! So I began to slowly buy into these videos and try to decipher an approach that I thought would be successful! So me and another Fire breathing preacher from New York ganged up together to get a game plane (outline) on how to do this and to do it right(using some material from the videos and some of our own material)! With a little bit a brainstorming and practice on each other, we created a planned approach to evangelize the people of Galway. And every since that day the last two weeks have been great, really having meaningful conversation about Jesus  with people while handing out gospels of John to people ,who after talking with them will have a genuine understanding about sin, the blood, salvation through Christ, forgiveness, and eternal life! Knowing and having peace that we truly did our part and that the Holy Ghost will take it from there! It’s an amazing feeling to have confidence in street ministry because in all honesty it can be on e of the hardest type of ministries.

With our last day approaching of street ministry Anthony and I made a goal to have ten genuine Jesus conversations…..and if you have ever done street ministry that is easier said than done! So as soon as we walked in the city square, I was shot down by the first two people that I tried to share the Gospel with….it seemed as though this was going to be a long hard day! ………….. But just as I was looking to find and approach another person, there were these guys throwing around a football in the middle of the square……and finally there was an open door to witness!! So we went up to the guys who had absolutely no idea about football, but had just purchased the ball in order to kill sometime. There were three guys all around the age of 22-24. So we went up to them as I began to show them how to throw the football and the next thing I know we began to play a pickup game of 3 on 3………not long after that it turned into 4 on 4 then 6 on 6 and then I think we finished out two hour game whit 8 on 8……..and when it was all said and done Anthony and I shared the shared the Gospel to all of them…….it was absolutely amazing! All in All throughout all of the people who played and watched us play the game…..around 20 people heard about the gospel of Jesus Christ! It was an absolutely great day!………oh yea the guys we were playing with were part of Ireland’s national Kayaking team!……they were awesome, and tried to get us out to their town to go take us kayaking but we were weren’t able to due to time restrictions !

So Ireland was a great time, except for the fact that my tent snapped in half due to all the heavy wind we were getting due to camping off the ocean, but no big deal just moved my stuff with Sam and sleep with him in his tent!
