Every day I get to
hike the Himalaya Mountains!

We hike about an
hour to two hours each ministry day. We’re going to pray for people, to
fellowship, rest from hiking, and encourage believers.

Today, we went to a
believers house that was like a tree house. It was three stories and the second
had an open porch with a beautiful view. Their beds are out on the porch, they
sleep in the open air.

I could just imagine
waking up every morning with Mom’s Best Sweetened Wheatfuls in my hand looking
at the mountains and praising our good God for them. It would never get old.

There is one place
in Georgia I love this much, Tallulah Gorge. I love that place! It’s God’s
playground just for me. Each time I step foot in the Gorge, I can’t stop
praising Jesus for the place he made. The hike to get to sliding rock is
dangerous, but so fun!

There are cliffs you
climb on, rocks you have to jump over, and rocks that are slippery it’s almost
impossible to get across them without falling into the freezing water. If you
slip into the water, you have to get out quick because the waterfall is just
down stream. Then at the end of the hike, there’s sliding rock.

This isn’t a man
made thing, God made it. It’s a huge rock water slide, a pool of water at the
top to sit in then slide down, and a big lake at the bottom. It’s nearly
impossible to climb out of the water at the bottom of the slide without a rope.
If you haven’t been and you live in Georgia, this would be a fun outing for you
and your loved ones (note it’s in North Georgia).

It’s so wonderful, I
have so many memories there.

I want my ashes from
my dead body to be spread in this place… unless they could be spread in
Nepal.

Wow. Pictures don’t
do this place justice. God has created something so beautiful here. Rice
fields, green, trees, a mighty rushing river, waterfalls, tree houses, endless
mountain range, climbing boulders, crazy hikes, true beauty.

Part of ministry is
just climbing up the mountain, standing on a cliff looking over a village and
proclaiming truth, freedom, and Jesus over them. Sometimes we shout and
sometimes we just pray quietly to the Lord.

One of the prayers I
have for each village is that every morning from then on, they would wake up
and know that their surroundings are not man made. They would realize what they
are surrounded by and have to praise the creator, our Lord God.

We intercede for
these people who don’t know Jesus yet. We fight the battle, for a brief moment,
then let God continue handle the rest.

Thank you God for
your creation.
