Hi, I’m Aubree! I have just finished school at Georgia Southern University and am completing the rest of my schooling with an internship. I will graduate May 2012 with a degree in Tourism and Recreation Management. I am currently interning at Adventures in Missions! I work in the Donor Relations and Development Department. I absolutely LOVE my job. I speak directly with donors, answer their questions, help them give, and thank them for giving to missionaries and the organization. I also do many behind the scenes work in development, making the organization better for years to come.
Before I came to Gainesville, I lived in Statesboro, Georgia. Georgia Southern University was ranked by Princeton review as one of the top 10 Universities in the nation. I absolutely loved my journey there. I loved my major. I like to describe it as, outdoor/hospitality/event planning/ parks and rec/ adventure education major. I minored in Marketing. I lived with 6 amazing girls. One of which is on the Race right now, on the homestretch. The other roomies are still in school, and they are all my best friends. I left school early, before everyone else. I left my community, my home, my life. It was bitter sweet to leave and I cried some, but now I know why I left when I did.

These are my roommates, minus the one on the Race right now.
I went to Georgia Southern, I grew up in Lawrenceville, Georgia with my mom, dad, and brother (two years older). I grew up in the church, accepted the Lord when I was young, and have been growing in my faith ever since. Each season of my life, God has changed me. Middle school I learned how to instead of exclude girls from the click invite them in, include everyone. In high school I learned how to worship freely, how God wanted to me sing and dance for him. In college, I learned about community and how God provides above and beyond for me. I have been on a few mission trips before and gone out of the country, all lasting no more than a week. These include: London, France, Mexico, and Greece.

This is my family! Mom, Dad, Bro.
I did not want to go on the World Race. I would have never pictured myself doing this. I had different plans. I said no, at first. God has changed my heart. He has made a way. He is in control.

This is in Athens, Greece. I am on Mars Hill.
Isaiah 30:21 "Whether you turn to your right or your left you will hear a voice behind you saying, "This is the way, walk in it."
Provers 3:5-6 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all yours ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
