A Wedding
My brother got married this past Easter. It was such a rich experience. Family and friends from all over came to celebrate with us. The ceremony was beautiful. I didn’t know I was going to do this, but I cried the whole ceremony. There was so much emotion going on inside of me.

This is my older brother getting married. He has been with me my whole life. I have seen his ups and downs. I have been through his heart aches with him. We grew up together, even went to college together.
And then there’s the thought about everything changing. From that point on, the whole family would be different. It would from now on, forever be Aubree, Chase and Jenn, Mom and Dad.
After the ceremony, there were no more tears. I was filled with joy. The love Chase and Jenn have for one another shined bright that night. The reception was downright fun. I danced my little heart out. I laughed a lot that weekend. God is so good.
A Garage Sale
I had a garage sale a few weekends ago. I asked people to donate things for me to sell. I had furniture, house wares, clothes, books, and more. I put a sign out saying the garage sale was to support a missionary going away for 11 months to 11 countries. So many people asked about my trip and so many people gave.
One guy walked up to me and said he was a missionary. He wrote me a $100 check and prayed over me before he left. He didn’t even know me! God showed up. He provided opportunities for me to share my testimony to people I would have never met if it wasn’t for the sale. God raised over $800 at the garage sale for me.
A Concert
Have you ever discovered something you hadn’t before and it makes you really excited? This recently happened to me.
The Band Perry is a country music band, their whole name is ‘The Band Perry’. I have really enjoyed listening to their music. I had suspicions they might be Christian due to some of the lyrics they use, but I really wasn’t sure. I went to their concert this past weekend and loved it! I learned the words to each song on their album so I could sing my heart out. I did just that, along with some dancing.

Then they sang, ‘Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone).’ Anyone can sing/play ‘Amazing Grace’ and it doesn’t mean anything. But they added on these lyrics by Chris Tomlin.
My chains are gone
I’ve been set free
My God, my Savior has ransomed me
And like a flood His mercy reigns Unending love, Amazing grace
That is not just any song. They sang about our Lord and Savior Jesus who gives us freedom and will never stop loving us, to a huge crowd filled with college students. I couldn’t help but raise my hands in the air, smile, and worship right in the middle of the crowd.
God, thank you for The Band Perry, may they continue to be used for your glory. May you give them lyrics to write songs that the whole nation will love and get stuck in their heads. Even if they don’t know now they're singing about you, may they know some day.
