Today our schedule from the pastor read, Sports Ministry
10am-3pm. We did not know what that
would look like, but we knew soccer and volleyball would be involved. Right before we left the church we learned
that the day was planned as a way for our team to have a good time. The church hauled out the sound system and
started up a game of soccer on the cement court behind the church. They also put up a net in the sand and got a
game of sand volleyball going. We ended
with a game of Ultimate Frisbee. I am
amazed at the skills of some of the younger kids; they got right in the games
and played alongside the adults.
