The past couple of days have involved more school visits, children’s programs, church services, and drama practice.  It has been fun to recognize some of the kids and young people at the services.  I have two new friends, Bridgite and Cynthia.  I sat down next to the two sister’s at a church service and they have been my buddies ever since.  The 9 and 12 year old joined me for the children’s program in the park.  The program was put on by people in the church and involved a lot of singing and dancing.  A crowd gathered as they blasted the music from the outdoor theater in the middle of the city.  It is so foreign to me as an American to see such a religious presentation in a public place.  Many people become new  Christians at the children´s programs, school programs, and church services.

Construction of the church has been approved by the officals of Lomo De Corvina.  I am really excited about that, but so far no plans have been made for when we will begin the construction.  Tonight we will be headed back to Lomo to attend help with a children´s program and youth service.  Yesterday all of the kids did not have school because of Maundy Thursday.  This morning I spent two hours riding around the city looking for an Internet place.  Everything is closed due to Good Friday.
