I am writing this from an ancient computer in Livingston, Guatemala. Livingston is a peninsula that is only accessible by an hour and a half boat ride. Our team is staying here for two more days then we will return to Puerto Barrios where we have an amazing host, Mildred. Mildred has opened up her waterside home with a pool and airconditioning and has spoiled us with amazing food. While we are here in Livingston we are staying with a pastor, his wife, and 7 kids. We have been doing home visits with him and will help him with church services. Please pray for health for our team because we have been eating a lot of food that was prepared with nonpurified water and the heat is pretty intense. I am still having a hard time with this assignment. I am the main Spanish speaker on my team and I am barely conversational, so I feel like we could be used more at an orphanage or doing construction work. I need to remember that God has placed our team here for a reason. Thanks for your prayers and comments. I will post my journals with more detail when I have access to a computer.
