MEET TEAM TZADIK 58….

Tzadik- Tzadik/Zadik/Sadiq (Hebrew: צ�"�™×§‎ "righteous one", is a title given to personalities in Jewish tradition considered righteous, such as Biblical figures and later spiritual masters. The root of the word á¹£adiq, is á¹£-d-q (צ�"ק Tzedek), which means "justice" or "righteousness.”

Tzadik is the literal acting out of Isaiah 58, which is where the number 58 comes in.

I will be living with these 6 amazing brothers and sisters for at least the next 3 months!

I had 2 prayer request for God when it came to my team:
        1.) Someone that wants to work out every day & can motivate me to exercise.
                Answer to prayer: EVERY single one of them! (see specifics below)
        2.) Someone who loves to do accousitic worship (my favorite thing in the       
             world is random accoustic worship)
                Answer to prayer: Michael & Derek (played every night at training camp)
He is way too good to me… He always provides in abundance!

Emily just graduated from Ole Miss as a teacher. She loves working with women.

Why she is going on the race: People need hope, healing, and restoration. I have the answer! I MUST share it!  No other place I'd rather be.

Age: 24 (25 on July 19)
Beka is an assistant to the General Manager at Vista Verde Ranch. She loves to run and loves working with kids!

Why she is going on the race: Love jesus, love the nations, love adventure!
 

Michael Clevenger


 

From: Melbourne, Florida
Age: 20
Michael works at Chick-fil-a and loves playing music. Loves to love on others and interceed for them.

Why he is going on the race: I'm going on the race to love and serve the least of these and to learn from them. To experience Christ in ways I've never experienced before, and to learn things I would never be able to learn in the comforts of America.
 

Tyler Vessels

 

From: Vine Grove, Kentucky
Age: 26
Tyler taught freshman world civilizations and Algebra 1 for the last 4 years and was the assistant coach for boys soccer. Loves to serve and help others.

Why he is going on the race: For the last couple of years God has been preparing me and has really put the desire in my heart to go and serve the least of these. I'm ready to really get out of my comfort zone and allow Christ to transform myself and those I come in contact with for his glory.

 
Derek & Christina Simke

From: West Palm Beach, Florida
Age: 26 & 25

Derek does Office/Outdoor Labor Work at Hot Shots Paintball and is a Private Music Instructor. He is passionate about music and serving others.

Why he is going on the race:To serve Jesus in His many different "Disguises", to be broken/have the box that I put God into shattered, to grow in my marriage, to KNOW AND BELIEVE the LOVE that GOD has for me, to look more like Jesus, and learn to live like God's Kingdom is here!

Christina is a Third Grade Language Arts Teacher. She loves running and working with children. Why she is going on the race: I am going on the race because God has led Derek and I to this. We are excited to see Him at work in the different nations around the world and are eager to grow as individuals and a couple.

Aren't they amazing? Couldn't have asked for a more amazing family to serve the Lord and grow in the Lord with!!!
