As many racers know this mission trip has a lesson about
worshiping in all situations and seasons. I thought for those of you who might
not know what that looks like I thought I would share mine…

When a mass of kids are screaming at you to sing
to them when you are sick with a runny nose and coughing… Thanking God for
being able to have a voice at all

 vv

When your teammate is vomiting violently in the
bathroom… Thanking God it is not a serious illness and He will heal her by
tomorrow.

When it is near midnight after a 2 hour door to
door evangelism session and a 2 hour small group bible study and the car runs
out of gas on the ride home… Thanking God your car is in a safe area and your
team is hilarious when tired.

When every time you go to read your testimony in
Spanish or try to talk to someone you want to cry because no one ever really
knows what your heart wants to tell them… Thanking God he works even when I don’t
have the words to share but only a hug to give.

When knowing you won’t be there for your brother’s
wedding with all your family or the wedding day of your friend since you were
10 years old and many other weddings … Thanking God He has blessed them with a
partner for life.

When you are told that one teammate, now your family member, will be going home and you will continue on as a team of 5 girls… Thanking God He knows best and only does what is best for us.

And my favorite…

Today, when arriving to church, you smell like
dog poop because you stepped in it and it somehow made it on to your pants and
up your leg… Thanking God He has a sense of humor and He gave it to you for
times like this J

As one of my favorite songs to sing says…

In every season, You are still God,  I have a reason to sing, I have a reason to worship!
