It’s official and the ball is rolling! For almost the past year, I have been praying for an opportunity to come my way. I wanted to be able to have some kind of impact on this world and the people in it. About 5 months after I started to pray about it, I heard about this radical mission trip through The World Race. I had no doubt that this was something I was suppose to do. For the next few months, I felt a tug at my heart and when the July 2014 routes came out, I jumped at the chance to do radical and life changing things. I am so excited to see what God has planned for me over the next 18 months. It is going to be a crazy journey of fundraising, training, planning, and praying & I am VERY ready for it.

If you would rather support me hands on, I will be having a fundraiser on November 16th (10am-5pm) at Davidson Academy’s Lower School Gym (Nashville, TN). It is going to be a “Chili & Treasure Yard Sale”. This will be a huge yard sale (with a chili lunch/dinner of sorts) that individuals have donated items to. These items will range from anything to everything-big or small, old or new. (books, jewelry, sport items, baby clothes, board games, crafty decor/objects, furniture, literally anything you don’t want, etc.) Along with the yard sale, I would like to have a silent auction of a variety of nicer items.
