Hey y’all! I wanted to give you an update on my World Race account.
So I’ve managed to NOT meet any of my financial deadlines since leaving for the Race nine months ago. Adventures in Missions has been gracious to bless me with extended grace periods to raise the money, which I am tremendously thankful for. I wouldn’t be here without their gift of grace.
Now, with that being said I still have $2,250.00 to be fully funded. AIM still continues to help me out, BUT they can only do that for so long. They have set up a donation plan to where I need to raise $500 every two weeks, due dates being the 1st and 15th of every month. Right now Monday, September 30, 2013 I need $250 by October 15th in order to stay another two weeks on the mission field.
I am, in a sense, buying two weeks of time on the race. (In your case, donating two weeks to my race) I titled this blog “my last fundraising blog” because I’m done fundraising.
I’m tired y’all.
I’ve run out of ideas and people to email for financial help.
I don’t write this from a bitter heart, but from a heart that’s thankful to have made it this far. I never thought in my wildest dreams that I would be able to make it across the planet let alone be blessed by people in the process. God has placed incredible people in my life to live out this amazing adventure. He’s also blessed me with people back home to return to, the people who’ve supported me with a simple email of encouragement.
I’ve been shaped and transformed into a person I barely recognize anymore. God has changed me and shown me who He is.
I love Him.
If you donate- cool.
If you don’t donate- cool.
I choose to trust where ever He places me, whether that be to stay on the race or go home, I know He loves me and has my best interest at heart.
Thank you to those who have donated, you’ve blessed me tremendously! I love you.
