We were on a plane from D.C. to Dubai for 14 hours, then we had a 2 hour layover.

(city of Dubai)

It was a nice 2 hours to stretch our legs.

Also, flying Emirites was amazing! Service was great, food was great, and they had cool movies to watch. We then boarded the plane and flew for another six hours to Johanesburg. (6 hours was a piece of cake) After that flight everyone walked away with a lovely gift of KANKLES! Goodness! They hurt so bad!

From there we rode a bus to the Mozambican border.

We were at customs for 5 hours trying to get our Visas, it was so much fun! We all took stupid goofy photos! I'm surprised they let us do it!

We then rode for 6-7 hours to “Angie's house” She's a missionary who let us stay at her house for the night so we could rest. We took bucket showers, ate, slept and woke up at 2:30am to pack up for another 20 hour bus ride to Iris Ministries in Dondo, Mozambique.

It was one of the most painful rides of my LIFE!! Knees CAN NOT handle being folded up that long!! BUT I was so relieved that we made it! 🙂

I know this is a short blog, but I really wanted to shared the travel experience. I'll post another one soon about bucket showers, 25 people in one car, plus a baby, and two buckets of fish!

I'm still in need of $2,300 to meet my third deadline. If I don't meet it, I have to fly home after month three, please help me stay out here for the entire eleven months =D

Thank you!

Love you!
