Our flight out of Los Angeles took off this morning at 12:50am. We landed in Guatemala City, Guatemala just before 7:00am. I was fortunate enough to take a 2 hour nap on the plane ride, but for some reason, cant remember much from the trip from the airport to our hostel in Antigua..
nevertheless, here I am, in the middle of what seems to be a dream.
So far, today is going well. Once we we arrived at the hostel were reunited with all the other members of our squad, it all began to become a reality. WE
RE REALLY HERE! WERE DOING THIS!
We communicate with the locals in broken Spanish.. Syd does most of the translating for us.. (SO thankful for her spanish skill) and dont quite have the flow of things yet.. but for being this early in the trip, we are doing fairly well.
