We spent the first week of this month with two teams on a farm in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.

“Eden” is the name of the farm.
Fitting…
For the moment we set foot inside the gates, we literally felt the presence of the Lord.
Peace.  Hope.  Love.
Just from walking around the property.

It also didn’t take long to see a tangible example of the Father’s heart in Tony (head of the ministry there).

He takes in street children from Sector F in Los Pinos…one of the most dangerous areas in Honduras.

Most of their parents are absent or unfit.
Most don’t know the Lord.
Most are hopeless.
Most are addicted to paint thinner, causing irreversible physical and mental damage.

We learned sooo much about the Love of God by observing Tony’s relationship with these boys…

He loves them right where they’re at.
He pursues them.
He’s patient.

However, this love comes at a cost…
It costs him his life.

But it’s worth it.

Because these boys see this love.
This love from God…
that never fails.
And transformation begins.

A few quotes directly from Tony:

“Though I am rejected, unwanted, used, lied to and let down..it’s not about me.  It’s about loving these boys…unconditionally.  Relentlessly.”

“There’s hope for change, but there’s love regardless.”

To the boys:

“You are chosen.  You are loved.  There is hope.  I believe in you.  You are worth my life.”

“My home, my family, my land, my love, my life…it’s all yours.”

Here’s a video that Bethany and Lindsey made that says it all…
