I’ve had several people ask what my day to day looks like in the Adventures Fellowship Program. Here’s an overview of what my roles are within the Fellowship and what a typical week looks like for me!
What I’m Doing
Through the World Race, God affirmed my calling to walk with people through inner healing that they may live out their unique purpose from a place of wholeness and joy. As a Fellow working full-time with Adventures in Missions, I am doing just that. Here’s how!
Me with my supervisors Neil (Center for Global Action) & Betty (Beauty for Ashes)!
As a fellow with Beauty for Ashes, women’s ministry of Adventures, my primary responsibilities are:
- Assist Retreat Director for Beauty for Ashes pre-training camp retreat for World Race women (event planning, day-of coordination, facilitation, assessment/evaluation)
- Develop three year curriculum for World Racers interested in women’s ministry
- Build partnerships within local organizations in order to facilitate retreat within Gainesville
As a fellow with the Center for Global Action I am helping develop & implement programs and support to all Adventures missionaries and staff to identify, be equipped, and live out their calling. My primary responsibilities are:
- Co-teach the Calling Course offered to Center for Global Action apprentices
- Coach World Race alumni on their calling
- Prepare a teaching on spiritual gifts
- Develop a staff event on calling
Within the Fellowship Program I am supporting the Director in assessing and evaluation the program and developing a strategic plan.
