A couple of weeks ago I was able to announce that I met my second financial deadline of $6,500! Thanks SO much to all of you that have given and made this possible. Meeting this deadline is a HUGE deal as it means I actually get to depart this September. Yes, I am actually leaving on the World Race! I also want to give a special thank you to those that have donated gear and REI gift cards this past week. It means so much to have help purchasing quality gear..thank you:)!
It's moments such as this that the realness of this decision begins to set in. It is a humbling and gracious reminder of God's call, my purpose, and of course your love and support. I hesitate to say "thank you" because it is nowhere near sufficient to express my gratitude and appreciation for your support, but it is all I can seem to muster at this time, so thank you🙂
So, What's Next?
Now that I am officially able to launch in September, I still have two more financial deadlines I have to meet. Currently I need $3,958.75 to meet my third deadline. If I do not have $11,000 in my account by December 1st, I will be sent home after only three months on the Race. Would you consider making a financial donation? Any amount helps!
