Yesterday I hosted my first party, World Race style! Yep, a couple of girlfriends gave up their sunny Saturday (those in Seattle know how sacrificial this is) to help me stuff 100 envelopes. We enjoyed my homemade hot wings, Tracy’s salted caramel squares, and Christalyn’s amazing spinach dip. A particular Pandora station (cough cough, Boyz II Men) and brie & crackers also made an appearance. To say the least it was a good time and I am so grateful for the company. Thank you ladies!

The scripture on the envelope reads: I brought glory to God here on earth by completing the work He gave me to do. John 17:4. The bottom line is I have been called to the World Race. I don't fully understand why, but it is a blessing and a sacrifice that the Lord has given me. Most importantly, I desire that He is glorified through what He does in and through me!

Will you help me complete the work God has given me to do?
