This is my Birthday Vlog, showing what I did for my 25th Birthday in Cambodia! Thank you so much to my new team, Ruach Chayil (Amy L, Elizabeth C, Mallorie R, Irene, and Katherine) for making this day possible! We also got to celebrate my birthday dinner with team AuROARa, which included 2 of my old team members from One Pulse (Morgan Stewart and Bri Childs)!
Lots of love to everyone who made this day so special for me, including all of my squadmates (my WR family) on the field, and my friends and family back home, who sent me so many sweet birthday wishes and messages! I loved opening the card on my birthday from my Mom and from some family members who sent their love to me from back home halfway across the world (and signed it 6-7 months early)! I also loved being able to video chat with my immediate family members and some friends on my birthday!
Even though I was not able to celebrate this birthday back home with so many people who love and care about me, I am so grateful to God for all the birthday blessings He gave me through my new team and friends and family near and far. I had been struggling with homesickness during a good chunk of December with Christmas and my birthday around the corner, but my 25th Birthday was one day I didn’t feel homesick at all because of all the love that was poured out on me that day. Overall, even though it was a very different birthday than usual, it was an amazing birthday and one I will never forget!
