So, here is a run down of my time so far in Europe! We left warm Africa, to cold snowy Europe! I had on sandals, capris, and no coat! Can we say FREEZING! But thank God we were led to an awesome church that donated warm clothes to us, fed us, and has been such a blessing! Talk about OUR Father taking care of us! No one knew what to expect of Latvia, but can we say, "Faith Journey, and God’s Promises!" No world race team has been to Latvia, but what a way to start!
What we saw when we landed in Latvia!!
My team and I were in Liepaja, Latvia last month, we partnered with a local church, lived there, and helped with many of the ministries they already had established or had a vision to do. We were with another WR team, so there were many of us to assist and fill the roles to make these dreams become realities. Some of the ministries were Pathfinders (similar to boy scouts/girl scouts), school cultural presentations at local middle and high schools, fellowship night for youth & young adults, “Messy Church” (church service for adults with young children), making videos for the church, youth group meetings, and the church’s baby school. So we did a little bit of this, and a little bit of that! A lot of times we didn’t know about some things until a couple of hours before, welcome to the WR! You never knew what we are getting in to. I also, had the privilege to minister to and mentor two sisters from the “Pathfinder’s” program, we met weekly and myself and my teammate Amanda spent time with them digging into the word, helping them understand their identity as daughter’s to a King, and spoke about life. It was an awesome time; I love pouring into the next generation! They were amazing girls, I pray that they continue to seek after The Father, and step into being leaders at the church and ministering younger girls themselves.
Two sisters I discipled!
Youth group meeting, team and at a random event!
Enjoying a kindergarden science class!
Dance Class with some kids!

Family that attended "Messy Church"
I was able to put my program/event planning skills to work and spearheaded the “Youth Gathering” at the church, this was so my element! It turned out to be a wonderful time, and everyone involved did an awesome job! We had music from my squad mate and her band, the pastor and his talented family, testimonies from two of my teammates, a video skit, and food and games afterwards. So I jumped around from all of these things, and it kept me pretty busy! Another awesome thing about being in Liepaja is that it's right by the Baltic Sea, which meant beach time! Well not actually, I did not take a dip but some of my teammates did! I could not bear the cold, I just had the thought of my whole body turning into a icicle . There was a little lady who is in her 70s; I
As close as I got to the water!
called her my “Latvian grandma” who would go swimming every morning. Brrrrrr! It didn’t faze her though! She was such a joy to be around, I never knew what she was saying, but she was FULL OF JOY! We would go worship at her house on Tuesdays and eat, sing, and fellowship. It was quite an experience! The other team that was with us this month lived with her for the month, it was a perfect match! She was sooooo adorable!!

Yessss!!!!! This woman is AMAZING! My "Latvian Grandma"

Hope you ENJOYED, I was a bee in the church skit/dance! Be ready for ANYTHING!!
