Wow. Here you are meeting two hunderd other people, some older, some younger, some with a sense of God, others a sense of the unknown, but everyone having a hunger for something more. You're at the right place- World Race Training Camp.
The first night you get together for worship and have a bit and i mean literally a bit to eat. You start to think, especially if you're a guy and like to eat, what you got yourself in to. I would say you're getting yourself into a time of steep learning in all senses. Mentally preparing for the trip. Physically pushing yourself to a new level and mantaining the temple of the Lord. Emotionally learning to deal with your past in order to let go of the strings you are holding onto and being able to "cut" them loose. What a feeling to be free.
Now that you know who you are you can learn to be part of a team. Squads work together for a couple days. This helps you get to know the people that you are going to be with and develop a sense of each others strengths and weaknesses. Another important thing is personalities. You get to see how you fit in and work with others and who you butt heads with- a valuable thing to know if you're going to be spending 11 months with these people. The rest is a journey that you will have to experience for yourself ……. 🙂
