(Granada, Spain)
It’s April 27th, and I have no idea how time can go so fast. In less than 2 months, our time here in Spain will be completed. Decisions have to be made, plans will be in action, and our story will continue.

At the beginning of our time here in Spain, Shaun and I felt that we needed to be similar. That our passions had to match and our plans needed to somehow weave together in “perfect” harmony. It brought frustration, annoyance, confusion, and resulted in no plan or idea of what was next. We felt in order for us to have a strong ministry or future that we would be combining our hearts into one outlet. Then we kept learning, kept growing together as one and came to a conclusion that we were wrong.
Our hearts are meant to beat to our own drums, God made us with different gifts, skills, & talents. We aren’t supposed to smash everything into one tunnel and hope it works. We are unique. Different. Our drums beating separately make beautiful music. We operate completely different, we grew up in opposite family situations, understandings, and cultures. Yes, we are both Americans, but our culture of life have created in us things that the other can learn and grow from.
Shaun is amazing at being Shaun. I am good at me. Still my mind has a hard time figuring out how it will all intertwine and impact lives for the Kingdom of God. Good thing is, I’m not supposed to know and have the answers.
(Easter, Running with the Bulls…Shaun got in the arena too. Pics to come)
I’m called to love Shaun, be gracious to him, even when I don’t understand his ways or thinking. I know and believe with all my heart that God has equipped us for success.
What comes next for us is still unknown completely. I’m ok with that, well sometimes! 🙂 But we do have 2 options on the table we are considering & wanted to share with you.
1. England.
We would partner with Steve Holmes, a man of God & social entrepreneur. Being mentored under him and working hands on with Genesis Academy and other new business opportunities. He would literally be giving us a new business idea for his company and we would learn to start a business from the ground up by doing it. It would be incredible.  We feel like Steve would teach of so much by not only his life but how he does business and his passions for the community encountering God. It would be probably a 1 year commitment but endless opportunities through him and his connections.
– Benefit is in return for our work with him, our housing and food would be provided. Allowing us to work a few months in America to be paying loans and life necessities before going to England.
2. Indiana
Shaun and I have about $15,000 in school loans we are paying on now and desire to get them paid off asap. Because of those we are praying about the potential of living in Avon for the next year or so and working while seeing opportunities to serve & impact the community there.
We strongly believe that the Lord has given us freedom to choice whichever option we want. We know that this next season is yet again a new beginning and that Jesus will do nothing but love us and give us opportunities to love. We are filled with the Holy Spirit and know that no matter where we work or live, that His name will be praised and life will happen!
Please pray with us, keep speaking into our lives! We love you all.
PS- Thank you for your giving of finances, we have by you, been able to pay of April’s tuition, we only need $4,000 to finish May & June. Praise God!
