Tonight I will be returning to Thailand after some R&R in the States. I will be finishing up the last 3 months of my two-year commitment with Adventures in Missions, in Thailand. Thank you so much to all my friends, family, and supporters who have stuck with me through my time in Thailand; who have prayed for me, visited me, supported me, and encouraged me. I couldn’t have done it without you. Please keep me in your prayers as I return to finish strong and say some very sad goodbyes in November (though I know I will return one day!).
Here’s a photo flash-back from last fall working at a relief team training camp, and a good preview of what is to come over the next few months in Southeast Asia. My main role will be to help out at a relief team training in the jungle.
Simulation of a Burma Army attack on a village- a training exercise for relief team members to practice responding quickly and bringing villagers to safety.
