So far this week I am feeling a wonderful peace. We have been able to work through some big calendar details and I am feeling good about the next few months

From February to April, Amy and I are hoping to get involved and spend a few days down in Clarkston, which is about an hour away, near Atlanta. There is a huge refugee community in the area and we have committed to start a children’s Sunday school program for the Karen (a Burmese ethnic group) service at Clarkston International Bible church. We have been attending the service for the last 3 weeks, getting to know the members of the congregation, and we will be alternating preaching for the next few weeks as well.
We are also excited to be paired with a Karen refugee family through World Relief (an NGO that works with refugee groups) for the next 3 months and have the opportunity to build relationships with the family and help out in any way we can.
Mid-May through the end of June, I will be coming home to support raise and hopefully set up some fundraisers. If anyone would like to help me organize or implement these fundraisers it would be a huge blessing! Also, this will be a great time to meet with supporters and my awesome prayer partners ☺

In July we will be busy back in Georgia doing some training and last minute prep to move to Thailand and I am planning on coming back to California for a wedding in August, before launching out August 14th!

Yes! A plan…:) God is faithful. Obviously some of these details may change, but I am glad that we have an official launch date that we are working towards. It is actually a blessing that it was pushed out a little bit too because after moving every month for 11 months, it is nice to stay in one place and get settled for a little while!
Please continue to pray for Amy Duncan and I. The team is down to the 2 of us now, but we are going to Thailand!
