So originally the deadline for all donations closed the 23rd of June, once this deadline started coming up with no change to the balance of my account I began to become very discouraged and basically gave up, that was until today.
I received and email from my mobilizer encouraging me to reach out and let people know my heart on the situation.
Even though the email she was responding to was one of me saying I had no where near the amount of money and I had no grand plan on how to get it.
But that was a complete and utter lack of faith, I need to belie ve every waking moment that God can make this happen and I need to make every effort as if he is going to do so. I was lazy and complacent with my outreach and it may cost me being able to serve on this mission trip, but I pray that if it is God’s will that it will happen and until I am thrown out of this trip I am going to try my best to raise the funds so that I may serve God.
Even just a simple email can change someones entire perspective and it has certainly done so to mine. I will not yield or give up until I know God wants me to, until the door is shut, I will do my best to have faith behind my actions and back my faith with actions.
So this is my plea and cry, if you feel lead to help me then I would encourage you to do so, but if not then please do not. I believe God will lead this but I need your help and it will take the combined faith and actions of many to accomplish this goal so I ask that you work with me to do so.
