we were not supposed to get in.  the government is anti-American.  we were not supposed to get in.  the government is anti-Christian.  we were not supposed to get in.  the government is anti-evangelism, anti-Jesus, anti-freedom; they were namely anti-everything that we stand for, and that we actively represent and actively pursue in other people.  oh, we got our myanmar visa’s??  wow, that was easier than expected.  but surely we will not get permission to go to the delta where the cyclone nargis killed thousands and left the area desolate will we?  i mean after all they declined support from the U.N. and from America.  we came in as “tourists” for obvious reasons.  why would a tourist want to go and see land that was devastated, that is not a big attraction there.  I am sorry, did you say that we received permits to go to the delta?

the first lesson we were reminded of is that nothing can stand in the way of the will of God Almighty.  evil authorities can try all they want to derail the will of God but their plans will come to nothing no matter how forceful the individual.  i am convinced that all of the man made barricades that stood in front of us at the outset were removed by the Almighty.  there was not a time when the situation was in our hands or under our control but there was never a time when it was out of God’s hands.  His provision in all facets of life will always be enough.  Like Luke 18:27 says, “what is impossible for man is possible with God.”  i wonder why we dont always believe that.  when we do, that is when God works through us in mighty ways.  I suggest that we stop putting God in a box and start understanding how awesome our God is
