Hey Friends! In just over a week we(R Squad) will be on our way to Albania! I am so incredibly excited!! Thank you all so much again for your support!
I had no idea what to write about, so I started thinking about what I would want to hear about from a friend who was taking this trip. The first thing that came to my mind is that I would want to hear what they were the most excited for. So, here are a few things I am excited about:
- Getting away from the clock
- Growing to love my new family (team & squad both)
- Getting thrown out of my comfort zone
- Jumping off waterfalls
- Expanding greatly my picture of God & love
- Living in community
- Learning to surf
- Laughing with strangers
- Catching as many sunrises/sunsets as I can
- Seeing so much of His beautiful creation
- Blessing those around us
- Exploring new places
- Making people smile
- Getting schooled by little kids playing soccer
- Hearing peoples stories
- Living with less
- Showing God's love to as many people as we can
- Worshipping like never before
- Hiking in Nepal
- Seeing our Father heal, both physically and emotionally
- Riding an elephant
- Trying new food
- Late night conversations with friends
- Giving my heart to those around me
- Seeing God come through in clutch situations
- Stargazing in remote parts of the world
- Learning to better hear His voice
- Playing with children who need love
- Having my heart broken and changed
- Swimming with sharks
- Bungee jumping (fingers crossed)
- Working for something bigger than myself
- Christmas/New Years in Africa
- Praying more than I ever have
- Thai food for a whole month
- Knowing that when I fall, there will be people to help me back up
- Catching up with good friends each month as we travel to our next country
- Riding on every imaginable form of transportation
