So, I called my first blog "Unexpected Turns"… and well, along came another one. shocker, I know =]. I started this trip with the plan to go in January. Everything was moving along, even made it to training camp in October… barely. On a side note, camp was great! We had so many great people in our squad and I've never gotten to know 50 people so fast. It was cool to be in an environment where everyone had the mindset of becoming family. Not only that, everyone had the same goal… it was sweet. Then after camp I began to feel that January just wasn't the time for me. I fealt really strongly that God wanted me to hold off until July. So, I spoke to my mobilizer and coordinator and they were awesome about it. I'm officially all switched up from P Squad to R! I will miss all you guys from P Squad but I'm lookin foreward to gettin' to know everyone from R! I am even more excited now! This has actually been a blessing, because I now have more time to gain support (currently at about 6k) and spend more time with loved ones!
