Hey all,
So our Africa trip is coming to an end! Makes me kind of sad
to leave as I am in love with South Africa. It is most definitely a place I
will come back to if life allows me to. We worked with some impoverished children,
spent time at a blind camp, and spent the last few days hanging with some
patients in a hospital.
I don’t know what to think about us leaving, I as usual am
always excited to check out a new country, but a piece of my heart will be left
here.
This place has gorgeous beaches, beautiful mountains, great
white sharks, big barreling waves, white sandy beaches, and steep rock faces
perfect for an afternoon climb.
The people are as usual kind, welcoming and eager to
befriend you. I will miss the boys and girls and staff back at oceanview kids
camp, miss all the friends I made at Higher Grounds blind camp, and miss
playing jenga at the hospital.
I don’t know where we are going, but we are most def.
leaving tomorrow morning at 8am. So if I am not around for a week or so, feel
free to hit me up and I will get back to you soon as possible. You are all
loved and missed!
To my youth group back home…. I have received a good amount of emails and
facebook messages from you all this month, and can’t begin to tell you how much
I miss you guys! Your words are what keep me going when times get rough, and
bring me back to a sweet sweet memory of before the race!
You guys are still my favorites, and I can’t wait for
bingefest 2011! Already thinking about where we will go… But this time, I am choosing to go in on the
competition…

One of the episodes was spoken subtitles for our friends
from Higher grounds, and the other is original..
