Support..

Hey all, I don’t know how to say this, but when I checked
out my support account I found out something absolutely insane! Somebody
anonymously donated 1500 dollars! In my last blog I had mentioned that if I
could get just $1500 more then I would be able to finish off the other $1500…

Well, you guys all rallied behind me and as of this morning,
Jan 7th, 2011, I officially am down to a total need of $824.83
dollars! So thank you all so much for your support, and for rallying behind me
at the moment of need. I will not stop people from adding more if they feel
led, but know that I can/am happy to pay the rest off myself from my savings.  You all have gone above and beyond in the
giving/blessings department and with that said, this is officially the last
time any of you all will hear about fundraising! YAYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!

On another note, Happy New Year! We are in a new country
this month after our 2 month visit to Malawi. I will miss Malawi, but cannot
begin to describe how much in AWE I am of our new place. I posted a video of
the 48 hour travel day on my previous post, and hope you get a chance to watch
some of those videos.

As for this month, we have made it to Cape Town, South
Africa. That is a dream of mine by the way… And, to top it off as I was sitting
in the front seat navigating for our driver the directions we printed off on
paper, the final directions read as follows…

“Turn left and follow road until you come to the beach
parking lot.

We are #96 just to the right of the parking lot…”

Aka, if you didn’t understand those directions, I am living
on the beach in Cape Town, South
Africa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Literally on the beach! Our house parking lot is the beach
parking lot, 200 yards west (it is a gigantic beach) is the sweet nourishing
Atlantic Ocean! Today the waves are waist to chest high, offshore winds!

I have a surfboard I am able to use and a wetsuit for the
month! AHHHHHHH

God just gave me my Christmas present!

Week one, we stay at this house, and drive into the city
each day to work with a VBS kids club style ministry if I understand correctly.

Week 2: We leave this location for a different ministry
about 2 hours away. We will be working at a blind camp. I believe taking blind
people kayaking or something along those lines.

Week 3: back to the beach house for another week of ministry
that I am not quite certain of just yet!

Either way, life looks to be absolutely amazing, blessed,
and exciting right now! I love and miss you all mucho much, but I don’t know if
I will ever leave this place! HAHA It is
my type of place. Beach, ministry, surf, diving, people who speak English,
sailboats, great white sharks, blue skies, offshore winds, mountains, you name
it!

Ok, gotta run, because this blog just got long!
